All children in school receive homework each week. Homework (Literacy, numeracy and a reading book) is given on a Thursday and should be returned by Tuesday. Children in the Early Years may receive phonic work more regularly.
Our home-school reading system expects all children to read aloud at least three times per week, and complete a reading activity in their activity journal. Parents should sign reading records to support this. We have placed below our Homework Guidance and Reading document should parents and carers wish to download a copy.
